Sharkoon Gaming DAC Pro S 

The Sharkoon Gaming DAC Pro S is a USB sound card that is designed for gamers and audiophiles alike. 

It is a small device that is not bigger than a USB stick and has an aluminum outer shell that feels robust. The device has a built-in headphone amplifier that can power even the most demanding headphones. If you have low-impedance headphones, you will most likely need to turn down the volume as it can drive high-impedance headphones quite well. It was tested with the Beyerdynamic 990 that had 250 Ohm, and it was easily usable. 

There are some possible sound options in the Windows sound options, like “Bass-Boost”, “Headphone Virtualization” and “Loudness Equalization”. However, I preferred not to use them.

Using this device is mostly better than just using your onboard audio. If you have a small budget, this could already improve your audio experience.
